Welcome to today’s episode. Let’s talk about today’s guest. We have Fara Rosenzweig. How are you doing today, Fara?
Fara Rosenzweig: Hey, good. How are you doing Ernesto?
Ernesto: I’m doing great. I’m excited for our listeners to get a good understanding of your company WorkRamp. Let’s start with that. In your own words, can you tell us a little bit more what WorkRamp is all about?
Fara Rosenzweig: Sure. So WorkRamp is the all in one learning cloud. We’re a platform that powers all of your employee and customer learning.
Ernesto: Okay, interesting. And so that everyone listening could get a good understanding of your company, what would you say are the problems that you saw for clients?
Fara Rosenzweig: What we’re solving for our customers is helping organizations engage their employees so they can learn and develop, and also helping customers get their own customers engaged with their products.
We allow customers to create education courses that help users adopt the product and maximize the value they’re paying for.
On the employee learning side, we help with onboarding, sales enablement, compliance, and development programs. We provide the platform that helps individuals learn new skills, perform better, and feel more confident in their career paths, whether they want to grow in their current role or climb the career ladder.
Ernesto: That’s awesome to hear. Love hearing something like that, especially focusing on employees. Great. Is there a certain vertical segment that you guys like to focus on?
Fara Rosenzweig: We typically work primarily in the SaaS space. Remote work and hybrid work are big, so we’re helping tech companies create employee engagement and help employees upskill, develop leadership, and more.
Our main vertical is tech, though we are branching out.
Ernesto: Perfect. Awesome. Great to hear that. Let’s talk marketing strategies. You’re the head of content and marketing—what would you say is a top client acquisition channel for you guys?
Fara Rosenzweig: From a content marketing lens, a big acquisition channel for us is organic. SEO is huge.
We’re constantly looking at keywords being searched, what we can revamp on the site, how technology is advancing, and changes like Google algorithm updates.
We’re building a strong organic SEO machine to drive traffic and eyeballs to the WorkRamp website.
Ernesto: That’s one of the best channels. Awesome. Let’s talk about the website. You can check them out at workramp.com. What role does the website play for client acquisition?
Fara Rosenzweig: The website plays a huge role. Think of it as the window when you’re shopping.
When someone lands on your site, you need to quickly communicate who you are and what you solve—through words, visuals, videos, testimonials, and case studies.
We offer product videos, expert content, customer spotlights, blogs, podcasts, and testimonials. That helps build trust.
Ultimately, the website drives people to request a demo and get in touch with sales to learn more.
Ernesto: Awesome. Let’s switch gears and talk about you as a leader. As head of content marketing, what are key tasks you focus on day to day?
Fara Rosenzweig: A big part is learning what our customers need. I spend time looking at social conversations, what customers engage with, and what’s happening in the industry.
We need to understand customer challenges so we can provide solutions in an easy, digestible way.
I also review metrics daily—what performs well, what drives engagement, and adjust accordingly.
Then it’s managing content production: blogs, videos, design assets, events, emails… But the biggest thing is listening and building trust so WorkRamp can be a thought leader in the space.
Ernesto: Definitely important. Now let’s move into rapid fire questions. Ready?
Fara Rosenzweig: Sure. Ready.
Ernesto: First off, what is the last book that you read?
Fara Rosenzweig: The last book I read wasn’t business—it was Lessons in Chemistry. It’s also an HBO Max show. I wanted to read the book before watching, and I finished it about two weeks ago.
Ernesto: Awesome. Next: what is one single thing that WorkRamp is focused on the most right now?
Fara Rosenzweig: We have a few really cool product announcements coming this year, so we’re focused on making sure those products are strong for our customers.
From marketing, we’re focused on delivering that message and creating content to highlight what’s coming.
Ernesto: Great. Now, if there were no boundaries in technology, what would you want fixed for your role as a marketer today?
Fara Rosenzweig: Better tracking analytics. We can see vanity metrics like traffic and clicks, but at the end of the day, businesses want revenue growth.
I’d love one tool that closes the gap, improves forecasting, and helps me make better decisions to grow the business.
Ernesto: Awesome. What’s one piece of advice you’d give yourself if you restarted your journey as a marketer today?
Fara Rosenzweig: Learn how to say no. Early in my career, I said yes to everything, which taught me lessons but also added stress.
Learning to say no, prioritize, and articulate why helps you strategize better.
Sometimes it’s not “no forever,” but “not right now—let’s put it on the backlog.”
Ernesto: Great advice. Fara, thanks a lot for being on the show. Last word: if someone forgets everything, what should they remember about WorkRamp?
Fara Rosenzweig: WorkRamp is the learning cloud that helps organizations power their internal and external learning.
And from the marketing side, we’re learning to take risks and stand out to capture people, drive them to the website, and get them to request a demo.
WorkRamp is a thought leader in learning and development.
Ernesto: Awesome. You heard it, listeners. Check them out at workramp.com. Meet the learning cloud—one platform to power all your employee and customer learning.
Fara, thank you so much for being with us today. To our listeners, thanks for tuning in, and we’ll see you in the next episode of Pathmonk Presents.
Fara Rosenzweig: Thank you.
