Let’s talk about today’s guest. We have Patricio from Numaris, Digital Media Business Manager with them. How are you doing today, Patricio?
Patricio Navarro: Fine, thank you. Thanks for the invitation. I’m very excited.
Ernesto: It’s great to have you on. And it’s interesting, right? I’m sure our listeners are tuning in, wanting to know a little bit more about what Numaris is. So let’s start off with that. In your own words, can you tell us a little bit more?
Patricio: Yeah, sure. Well, Numaris is a platform that is focused on connecting and managing mobile assets through a cloud-based software. These assets range from heavy trucks, last-mile light trucks, cold chain utility vehicles, and many others. We are focused on transportation organizations. We have been able to expand on a national level because Numaris represents three different brands with more than 20 years of experience here in the Mexican market—Techno Control, C Track, and Smart Tracker.
Our software is designed to transform these assets from inefficient to intelligent by processing a vast amount of information from a connected IoT device and transforming it into actionable data. This allows our clients to make decisions regarding asset security, optimization, and protection. We have more than 3,000 B2B clients, from small and medium enterprises to large, nationally recognized companies. Today, we manage over 60,000 cloud-connected assets with many solutions tailored to different sectors.
Additionally, we’ve integrated the capabilities of Techno Control, C Track, and Smart Tracker, and we are moving forward to maintain both organic and inorganic growth to continue generating ROI for our clients and their operations. That’s what we do and where we’re heading.
Ernesto: Awesome, great. So, you mentioned Easy Track and Smart Tracker, but if you were to sum up a key problem that you solve for clients, how would you sum it up? What’s the key problem you address?
Patricio: Basically, at Numaris, we aim to be a one-stop shop for transportation organizations. We address all their needs concerning security, optimization, and efficiency, supported by data analysis. For example, we offer solutions like fuel management with sensors that measure fuel levels in trucks, which helps companies reduce fuel expenses and improve efficiency. Additionally, we use AI-driven cameras to enhance safe driving by monitoring both the driver and the road, preventing accidents. Essentially, we try to cover security, efficiency, and optimization comprehensively.
Ernesto: Perfect. So, would you say there’s a specific vertical or target market you focus on? Do you have an ideal ICP?
Patricio: Yes, we focus on four main sectors: logistics and mobility, retail and distribution, and financial services. While we provide various hardware solutions, the most important aspect is our software, which consolidates all the information generated by the hardware. Practically, we cater to any company with mobile assets.
Ernesto: Great to hear that. How do people typically find out about Numaris? Do you have a top client acquisition channel?
Patricio: Our primary acquisition channel is our website. We showcase information about Numaris’ history, growth, and customer success stories, which build trust. Since we’ve been in the market for a long time, word of mouth also plays a significant role. Our campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads direct users to our website, where they can see our credentials and learn more.
Ernesto: Definitely some great strategies. I’m here on the website now. For our listeners, you can always check them out at numaris.com. What role does the website play in your client acquisition?
Patricio: The website is essential. It’s where we centralize all our campaigns and tools, from SEO to content. We ensure it’s packed with valuable information like testimonials and case studies. All our campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads drive traffic to our site, helping build confidence in potential clients about working with Numaris.
Ernesto: Great stuff! Let’s switch gears a little, Patricio, and talk about you as a leader. You’re the Digital Business Manager for Numaris. What are some key tasks you focus on in your day-to-day work?
Patricio: First, I check on our advertising campaigns—on platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads—to ensure they’re optimized daily. Then, with the marketing team, I review and qualify the leads we receive from our campaigns and website. Our goal is to schedule face-to-face or virtual meetings between our sales team and potential clients. Essentially, my daily focus is on lead generation, qualification, and optimizing our campaigns.
Ernesto: Important work for sure. Let’s jump into our rapid-fire question round. Are you ready?
Patricio: Yes, let’s go!
Ernesto: First up, what’s the last book you read?
Patricio: “The 5:00 AM Club” by Robin Sharma.
Ernesto: Great read. Next, what’s the one thing your company is focused on the most right now?
Patricio: Growth. We’re expanding both organically and inorganically, acquiring new security companies and increasing our team. Two years ago, we were 100 collaborators; now, we’re over 400.
Ernesto: If there were no boundaries in technology, what’s one thing you’d like fixed for your role as a marketer?
Patricio: Attribution. It’s challenging to pinpoint which strategies work best. Also, ensuring every lead responds and moves forward in the process would be fantastic.
Ernesto: Lastly, what’s one piece of advice you’d give yourself if you were restarting your marketing journey?
Patricio: Trust your instincts and act on your ideas, especially if you believe they’ll make a big impact. Innovate constantly and stay ahead of the competition.
Ernesto: Great advice. Patricio, thanks for being on the show. If someone forgets everything else, what’s the one thing they should remember about Numaris?
Patricio: We’re growing exponentially and striving to expand beyond Mexico. We’re committed to being the best at what we do, wherever we go.
Ernesto: Fantastic. For our listeners, check them out at numaris.com. Patricio, thanks again for joining us. To our listeners, thanks for tuning in. See you on the next episode of Pathmonk Presents!
Patricio: Thank you!
